How soon will I feel something?
Most men notice the energy inside the first week — usually as the afternoon crash simply not arriving. Drive and focus take longer; give it three to four weeks of one stick every day. Your refund window is 90 days from delivery, so you can run it properly and still get your money back. Individual results vary.*
When should I take it?
Morning or early afternoon. Tear the stick and squeeze it straight into your mouth, or stir it into coffee, tea or water — hot or cold, it does not matter. Avoid taking it right before bed: for some men it is enough to keep them awake.
What makes this different from a jar of resin?
Two things. The dose is measured — 400 mg per stick, every stick, instead of you eyeballing a pea-sized lump off a spoon. And you will actually finish it. Resin is the purest form and also the one most men abandon by week two, because it is bitter and it sticks to everything it touches.
How many sticks are in a pouch, and how long does it last?
Ten sticks per pouch, one a day, so a pouch is ten days. Each stick is 10 g. If you are running it as the full protocol, plan for three pouches to cover a month.
What is actually in it?
Per stick: 400 mg of purified Himalayan shilajit resin, of which 50 mg is fulvic acid, suspended in raw honey. Raw honey is the only other ingredient on the panel. No fillers, no flavouring, no added sweetener, no preservative.
There is 6 g of sugar in each stick. Does that matter?
It is honey, and it is the carrier — 6 g of sugar and 35 calories, about a rounded teaspoon. That is roughly what you would put in a coffee. It is worth knowing if you are counting carbs closely or managing blood sugar, in which case talk to your physician first. We would rather print it here than have you find it on the back of the pouch.
Why fulvic acid, and why print it separately?
Fulvic acid is the compound shilajit is graded on — it is what carries the trace minerals through the gut wall. Most labels give you a percentage with no weight, which tells you nothing. An independent lab tested eight shilajit products in 2024 and found fulvic acid ranging from 6.9 mg to over 2,200 mg per serving. Ours is 50 mg, in milligrams, on the panel.
Is it vegan?
No. It is raw honey, so it is not vegan. It is gluten free and dairy free.
Are there side effects?
At one stick a day most men have none. Shilajit is traditionally taken daily and this is a modest dose. Because it naturally contains iron, if you have haemochromatosis or any iron-overload condition, do not take it without speaking to your physician. Do not give honey to a child under one year old.*
Is there a subscription?
Not on this product yet — every pouch on this page is a one-time purchase, nothing rebills and there is nothing to cancel. When auto refills go live here they will be optional, priced below the one-time price, with an email before every renewal and cancellation in two clicks.
What if it does not work for me?
Take it for 90 days from the day it arrives. If nothing changed, email support@up8health.com and we refund the order — even if the pouch is empty. Keep it. We would rather lose the sale than have you argue with us about something that did nothing for you.
Where is it made, and who should not take it?
The resin is Himalayan in origin, purified and lab-tested for heavy metals and fulvic acid content batch by batch. Not for anyone under 18, or for women who are pregnant or nursing. If you take prescription medication or have a medical condition, talk to your physician before starting.*
Shilajit and heavy metals — should I be worried?
You should be worried about shilajit in general, and that is exactly why this matters. Raw, unpurified resin — the kind sold as a lump scraped off a rock — is a documented heavy-metal and contamination risk. That is not marketing scare copy, it is the reason purification exists. Ours is purified resin, lab-tested batch by batch for purity, fulvic acid content and heavy metals. If a shilajit seller will not tell you whether their resin is purified and tested, that is your answer.
Can I take it with my medication?
Ask your physician first. The one worth raising specifically is iron: shilajit carries iron among its trace minerals, so if you have haemochromatosis or any condition that raises your iron levels, this is a conversation to have before you start, not after. Same if you are on any prescription medication — bring the panel, it is short.
Can my wife take it? Can I give it to my kids?
Your wife can, if she is not pregnant or nursing — nothing in it is male-specific, we simply write for men because that is who buys it. Your kids cannot. It is an 18+ product, and there is a harder rule underneath that: never give raw honey to a child under one year old. Raw honey can carry botulism spores that an infant gut cannot handle. Keep the pouch out of reach.
I watch my blood sugar. Is 6 g a dealbreaker?
Be honest with yourself about the number rather than us talking you past it. One stick is 6 g of added sugar and 35 calories — roughly a teaspoon and a half of honey, about a third of a banana. For most people that is noise. If you are managing diabetes, it is not noise, it is a number that has to fit in your day, and your physician is the one to decide that with you.
What does it actually taste like?
Honey, with something darker underneath. Shilajit on its own is bitter and tarry, and that bitterness is the reason most jars of resin end up abandoned in a cupboard. The honey carries it. It is not a dessert and we are not going to pretend it is — but it is the difference between ten seconds and a ritual you start avoiding.
How is this different from the shilajit I keep seeing on Instagram?
Ask any of them for two numbers: milligrams of resin per serving, and milligrams of fulvic acid. Most will give you a percentage with no weight behind it, or a picture of a mountain. Ours is 400 mg of purified resin with 50 mg of fulvic acid, printed on the panel, per stick. Compare that line against whatever else is in your cart — it is the whole argument.
